For traditional hand-printed batik
garment, it is normal to have some minor dye print imperfections. It is this
unique, batik’s natural characteristic that raised the value of batik as a piece
of art work. Batik is very durable:
it is more colorfast than printed
fabrics because through the dyeing process the fabric absorbs the color so well
that it will not easily fade.
Care/Washing instructions...
On the first wash of batik
garment, you may see excess dye. Do not worry.
This is perfectly normal. Best results are achieved by machine washing with
garments of the same color (only for the first wash, subsequent wash not necessary).
